Bought 3kg of Mini Eggs for our Simnels – used 1kg and appear to missing the remainder!! They’re SO good tho!!
Easter’s on it’s way again and it’s a hive of activity in our chocolate area this week.
We’re busy making hundreds of individually decorated eggs and bunnies for all those chocoholics out there to enjoy.
The ovens are full of Simnel cakes and I’m desperately trying to avoid the jar of Mini Eggs used for decoration!!! [...]

Today we’re the proud “parents” of two new additions to the Harrogate Cake Co family….our mini loaves have been born.
Hitting the shelves in the next week, these individual loaves are the first in this new range.

Busy week – our sheep are in the middle of lambing (know how all you new mothers feel…having to bottle feed 5 at the moment)! Our biggest week of the year so far for our Tea and Ginger loaves – we made 278 loaves today….all ready to wrap tomorrow!

This lovely weather is fab but it’s been playing havoc with the temperature in the bakery - not great chocolate making weather!! Was there til 1am this morning waiting for the temperature to come down [...]
Forgot to mention earlier – had a great time getting involved with being a guest diner at the recent filming of a new TV show with Gino D’Acampo.
